• Here in the UK we call the cake these fabric rolls are named after "Swiss Rolls" Where the sponge & the jam give a lovely swirly contrast.

• 100% cotton strips of fabric cut at 2 1/2" wide.

• Lengths of strips cut across the width of the fabric, approximately 44".

• Lengths will vary, especially between manufacturer.

• Using the standard 40-strip jelly roll, you will get a quilt that is 50″ x 64″ without any additional border.

• As for yardage, there are 2.75 yards of fabric in a single Jelly Roll. Laid end to end as strips, one Jelly Roll measures approximately 1.680 inches – 140 feet – 46.5 yards.
